OUR RESPONSE
In line with Public Health recommendations, we have limited our capacity at our shelter and navigation center to 50 people and our meals program is now "grab and go". We are continuing with stringent cleaning, hygiene and screening. We are working closely with the City of Renton. The Mayor and his team have been in constant contact to offer support and resources, to consult and to brainstorm with us about how to best respond.
HOW YOU CAN HELP
While these measures are necessary, they are impacting our ability to provide these critical services and we need YOUR help! The best way to help REACH, and the families we serve, is through financial donations. This will provide REACH the most flexibility to respond to the ever-changing and growing needs
Your financial gifts give us the ability to respond quickly to needs.
We realize that some of you would rather purchase items directly, so we have compiled this “shopping list” but please keep in mind that currently Renton City Hall is closed to the public which makes deliveries very difficult. Please call the Center of Hope (425 277-7582) Monday-Friday from 8-3 to arrange a specific drop off time. You may also email Pattie Holt (pattie@reachrenton.org) our donation coordinator to arrange deliveries. This is an ever-changing situation, so we need to be flexible-thank you!
At this point we are still able to serve meals to our residents within the Center of Hope while maintaining 6 feet distance guidelines. The REACH Meal Coalition has become a “grab n go” service. To meet the needs of both programs we need the following:
