PLEASE SUPPORT REACH...
Dear Program Supporter,
As the holidays rapidly approach us, we are writing to ask you to remember the needy among us by financially supporting the Renton Ecumenical Association of Churches’ annual operating fund (REACH).
As you probably know through your connection to one of our programs, REACH is a unique collaboration of clergy and lay people from 25 multi-denominational Christian churches and 23 human service organizations locally.
These REACH members support our mission by concentrating on improving and providing access to food and shelter, health and wellness, education, employment and spiritual care in the greater Renton area.
Here are some of the ways REACH is working in Renton to improve lives in our community:
· REACH partnered with the City of Renton to open the doors to the Center of Hope, a shelter for homeless women and their children this year.
· REACH partnering with the Salvation Army Community Supper and The Refuge facilitates the provision of a hot meal for 80 people 7 days a week.
· REACH has partnered to collect baby care, personal hygiene, and school supply kits for needy families locally and for refugees of disaster and war globally.
Your donation of any amount from $5-$500 or more helps us realize our goals in more ways than you can imagine. Please donate online at http://www.reachrenton.org/donations.html or make checks payable to our fiscal sponsor, St. Andrew Presbyterian Church and mail to: REACH, 3604 NE 10th Court, Renton, WA 98056. Please write REACH in memo of check or on an enclosed note.
While REACH awaits favorable IRS notification of tax-exempt status as a public charity, your donation is tax-deductible through St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with TIN #91-6199198.
In gratitude for all you do,
Maggie Breen, M.Div.
